Junior Certificate – Maths

Our Junior Certificate grinds are designed to help students get a solid foundation in Maths before working on their exam techniques in preparation for their Junior Cert Exam in the 3rd year.

We focus on helping the students gain confidence in their ability, regularly introducing new topics and revising topics to help consolidate their understanding. We teach all topics needed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year classes of Junior Cycle.

Leaving Certificate – Maths

Our Leaving Cert grinds are to help students get the grade they need in their ordinary and higher level exams. We teach all the topics needed for 4th, 5th , and 6th year classes as well as revising topics to improve confidence.

Our classes also focus on preparing for the 6th year exam by practising exam questions and crafting their answers to get the most marks possible.

Non-exam Maths grinds

For years 1, 2, transition year and 5th year, we offer non-exam classes to help students make progress in Maths, so they are better prepared for when they sit their Junior Cert or Leaving Cert exams.

Mature Students

"I was a student in Deane College in 2020-21 to sit both honours Irish and Maths. From the moment of enquiry I knew Deane College was the perfect fit for me. As a mature student going back to the school environment is difficult but both Jerry and Martin treat each student with great care and make you feel like you are the only one in the room. The classes are small and the content is set out in a way that is achieveable, realistic and useful. I was given one to one support throughout the year and Jerry and Martin went above and beyond to help prepare me for my leaving cert oral and written exams. With their help and guidance I was able to get the results I needed to get my place in a Masters programme to pursue a career in primary teaching."
