Term 1 is over and the pre exams are fast approaching. If you are worried or feeling exam pressure Deane College can help you.
We are Cork’s longest established private college. We have over 35 years experience of preparing students for their Junior and Leaving Certificate exams. Our teachers are experienced and motivated and we can help you to avoid exam stress and achieve your potential.
We are conveniently located in Cork city centre near the world famous English Market. We are easily accessed by the many schools located in or near the city centre and suburbs.
We have a wide range of subjects available for both Junior and Leaving Certificate students. We also provide grinds for non-exam classes.

Biology Leaving Certificate Higher level Wednesday 6.15-7.15.
Maths Fifth Year Higher Level Tuesday 6.10-7.10

CAO CLOSING DATE
Leaving Cert students should have filled in the CAO form as the closing date is February 1st.
Make sure you fill in all your choices on your form. Don’t worry if you are not sure - submit your form and you can do a change of mind form later in the year.
If you are unsure ask advice from your career guidance teacher, your parents or older brothers or sisters who have already gone through this process.
PRE EXAMS
Most of you are starting your pre exams at the end of January or start of February. For a lot of students this is very soon as they are back less than a month and have only recently done a Christmas or end of term exam.
Don’t stress out too much about the pre exams. They are very early so you still have lots of time left to revise and improve. Also don’t get too high or low about your performance or results. Remember this is a trial run not the real exam. So learn from it and move forward.
EASTER REVISION COURSES
At Deane College we have over 35 years of giving revision courses. We are now enrolling for Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate revision courses which will be held from April 7th to April 13th.
